The organization Rise To Power was founded in March of 2022 for the people by the people. It stands as a result of the conversations had by community members regarding the lack of tangible results in underserved communities, despite the billions of dollars being invested by city, state, government, and private funders annually. The Rise to Rower organization is made up of educators, business owners and members of the community that care about our neighborhoods current predicament. We observed this firsthand, and soon realized that we weren’t alone in this concern. Now Rise To Power strives to make a difference in these areas, by utilizing these resources most effectively.

Rise To Power’s ultimate goal is to engage local residents in the decision-making process, to allow them to have a say in where funds are directed, as we believe that real results come from the people that are directly affected by the issue. Our slogan, “For the people by the people” is our reminder that real power comes from the people being empowered to make the right decisions. We use this message to rally the community to come together and invest in themselves. We are creating a model of change that is sustainable and will bring true economic development that can be felt by generations to come. Dedicated to this ideology we vow to become the model for what community-based organizations are supposed to be.

We, the people, have come together to form a unified front, dedicated to achieving meaningful and lasting change for our community and beyond. We are determined to break down social and economic barriers and create an environment of inclusivity and opportunity.
